Trail Info & Etiquette

There is no charge to hike on the property & hikers are welcome to take a self-guided walk on the trail to Blueberry Mountain.  The distance to the summit of Blueberry Mountain and back is approximately 5 kilometres. It takes about 45 minutes at a leisurely pace to reach the top and about 35 minutes to return.

  • cliffLAND – The Clifford Family Protected Wilderness is a privately managed wilderness property. Access is permitted with the understanding that natural hazards and minimally maintained features are present, including uneven terrain, water, cliffs, falling trees or branches, wildlife, insects, trails, benches, and bridges. Visitors enter and use the property voluntarily and are responsible for their own safety and the safety of those in their care. By entering or using the property, visitors acknowledge these risks and release the Clifford Family and the Mississippi Madawaska Land Trust (MMLT) from claims arising from personal injury, property damage, loss, or other harm related to use of the property.

There are also guided hikes and workshops to supplement your day.
